Death and Resurrection for mortals
It’s Easter and I’m sitting at my desk after a pretty intense writing purge. Spring has always gifted me with new birth. I was born in the spring (april 25th) and the 3 major love relationships in my life all began at the end of March or early April. New projects regularly come in on a whoosh of inspiration in spring. Like all of nature that’s been dormant, I start to green up again too.
Easter was not my holiday growing up…there were a few Easter eggs here and there…but not in any religious sense.
But today the word “resurrection” has been in my mouth as I’ve processed some of the more intense aspects of the past year.
Cycles of death and rebirth are everywhere.
They’re always woven into our human experience. And when we’re going through any kind of transition, it helps to remember both the inevitability, and how there is never one without the other. We forget that part. We forget that there are always seeds of rebirth present, even when we don’t know how to see them, or aren’t ready to acknowledge them.
I wrote and wrote today in a way that pretty much gutted me. I was given the dubious gift of clarity and saw aspects of my self and certain choices with no filter. None. And just as I wondered if I could bear some of the feelings, the word “resurrection” would drift in. It’s kind of a big word, not something we carry with us normally, right?
Death and rebirth~ Today I heard in my head, “let what wants to die, die, and what wants to rise up, rise up”. Yes. Yes, please. For us to be reborn something first has to go. And in my experience you can’t always choose when something’s going to go. It’s often a matter of grace…of our being guided and led to experiences or understandings that take us through a new portal. It wasn’t lost on me when I was guided to move to Newport last summer. A new portal.
And today on Easter, I am opening my arms and heart wide to being lifted from the past and into what wants to be created. The seeds of the new are always always there. And when we are ready to release the old, something new can come forth, and new life can come through us, as us.
And that’s what I want for you too.
It’s no accident that Beauty School, the Intuitive Body new membership program, is beginning the first week of April.
Beauty School is all about cultivating the balance between the releasing and the refilling. It’s about letting go of what’s no longer serving you, and embracing all of the beautiful practices, and relationships, and beliefs and habits and rituals that will.
Every month we’ll look at a specific theme. In April it’s going to be about the body. Because being at home in our body, allowing our spirits to have a human experience, means coming into the physical. And we’re going to do that in ways that you probably never thought of…and ways that you will adore.
Beauty School annual memberships are being limited so I can best serve you, with tons of individual support, your big-hearted sisters walking alongside you, loads of inspiration and fun, rituals to make it all more beautiful. Of course.
If you’re ready to release some of the heavy and the old and outworn, and to find your own rebirth- in your body, your home, your work, your relationships, your spirituality, your creativity, and more… please join me.
Details are here.. it’s a full year that includes wild amounts of connection and support for a truly generous and low price. I’d love you to walk through this year in this much beauty, the kind that heals and inspires and refills and that changes everything. This is a program you can take at your own pace, lots of autonomy but support where it matters. You can do as little or as much as suits you, and use the parts that most appeal to you. Check out the details, and if you have any questions at all, please email me..Lisa at IntuitiveBody dot com.. I’ll get right back to you.
In my heart and soul I know this is a perfect program for many of you, at just the right time, for just the right price. If it speaks to you, I’d love you to join us if you want support and structure around making changes that you know will feel really good.
There’s even a guided cleanse in April if that’s something you want (everything is optional- you do not have to cleanse if you don’t want to.. but it will be gentle and have different options).
See what else is included here.
With all my love and so much beauty
