There are certain things that a therapist isn’t required to tell your parents. I would look into specific things that your state/country requires them to tell. I know discussing your disorder isn’t a required thing to talk about in NJ just specific things that would cause physical harm to you or others pretty much (ie self harm or the threatening of others etc). Trying to talk through it with a therapist would be best especially if you don’t have a parent figure. I also am empathetic to the language barrier as my fathers side is Hispanic and no one really understands the culture or problems that we face due to the society we’ve been put in.
